Gurugram, India, April 23, 2025: A nationwide art festival in India drew over 1,000 participants, with 200 selected for the display and art auction event in Gurugram, also known as the Millennium City.
The festival was inaugurated by Shri NN Vohra, a Padma Vibhushan awardee, who previously served as Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of India, Home Secretary, and Governor of Jammu and Kashmir.
Notably, 30 paintings were sold on the first day and found new homes, with the highlight being a thrilling auction of 20 super select artworks.
The festival witnessed an overwhelming response from art enthusiasts and students alike, curated by India’s largest online school of art and design, Thoughts on Canvas.
The festival featured many esteemed guests of honour, including the eminent artist Shri Ashok Bhowmick and senior BJP leader Shri Shailendra Singh, among others. Shailendra Singh addressed over 500+ attendees in the auditorium on the power of education.

The festival featured a range of activities, including a live auction, interactive art workshops, and an exhibition of stunning artworks created by both past and present students of Thoughts on Canvas School of Art and Design. Visitors had the opportunity to engage with the artists, learn about their creative processes, and take home unique pieces of art.
