Shirodkar was conferred with the prestigious ‘Rashtriya Samman’ at a grand ceremony held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on April 25, 2026. The honour was presented by acclaimed actress and Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut, in the gracious presence of distinguished personalities from across the country. Dr. Shirodkar received the award alongside his wife, Dr. Beena Shirodkar, whose unwavering support and encouragement have been a constant source of inspiration throughout his journey.
Dr. Vinod G. Shirodkar recently pursued his PhD in Law from Goa University, a milestone he attributes greatly to the motivation and guidance of Dr. Beena Shirodkar.
